3. Snack. Don't know why because I enjoy a good one - but snack has always made me cringe.

2. Moist. Such a gross adjective.

1. Panty or panties. Just say underwear.

Oh yeah - and any word that comes out of Rachel Ray's mouth. Such an annoying human.

Come on people - I know you're out there. What word annoys you?

Project Dear Stella #1

Lindsay Straw Galloway is a Surface Pattern and Textile designer (dream job) in NYC who launched her new fabric line Dear Stella late last year! She also happens to be an old high school friend, a facebook friend as well as a fellow pinner on Pinterest! Through the wonderful world of social media, Lindsay and I have reconnected. She was kind enough to send me some of her yummy, vibrant fabrics to play with - and I have been overwhelmed with ideas! The colors make me giddy!

I have desperately been looking for the right bedding to brighten up my bedroom. Sometimes I think it can be a curse when you know exactly what you want, because you can then never find it. Over the weekend I used the Palladium Gray Chevron to make some pillows for our bed and they turned out beautiful!

I love giving gifts, but I love wrapping them even more!

How cute is this fun present? 

I wrapped the package in craft paper and then drew lines on the front to mimic garland.

With a heart hole punch and some paint chips I had lying around, I punched out the tiny hearts and glued them onto the craft paper under the lines. Voila a beautiful gift!

Here we come sunny so cal!

CJ and I are off to visit a few friends this weekend.

I can't wait for my little guy to meet some very special people!

Felt flowers and rice krispies

Some sweet treats I made for my valentine's this year:

 


Instead of laying out rice krispies in a baking pan - I molded them in heart shaped cookie cutters, wrapped them in a clear baggie and tied on (my favorite) a felt heart!
