Happy + Friday

Craft paper and a sharpie. That's all you need to wrap a gift like this! I used the tutorial here on how to fake calligraphy if you are not trained to do so. Happy Friday!

Project Dear Stella #2

I love love LOVE the Dear Stella Stained Glass line of fabrics. The colors are stunning! I have been wanting to wrap fabric in canvas, and I thought I would give it a try with these little guys I had lying around.

I think the dimensions are 3" x 3" so they are super small - but look super cute on a shelf. Of course I had to adorn a felt flower - duh!

The colors are Pink, Orange and Light Orange

Chewbeads

I normally don't do "mommy" posts, but I can't help but share Chewbeads!

Non toxic jewelry for Mom that baby will (literally) drool over! I am thinking a few bracelets and a necklace are in my future! The colors are spectacular!

More pretty packaging

I am not going to tell who these treats are for (wink wink).

Such a simple way to make a gift look beautiful! More gift wrapping ideas this week so stay tuned! Enjoy the leap day!

The top 3 words that I loathe

3. Snack. Don't know why because I enjoy a good one - but snack has always made me cringe.

2. Moist. Such a gross adjective.

1. Panty or panties. Just say underwear.

Oh yeah - and any word that comes out of Rachel Ray's mouth. Such an annoying human.

Come on people - I know you're out there. What word annoys you?

Project Dear Stella #1

Lindsay Straw Galloway is a Surface Pattern and Textile designer (dream job) in NYC who launched her new fabric line Dear Stella late last year! She also happens to be an old high school friend, a facebook friend as well as a fellow pinner on Pinterest! Through the wonderful world of social media, Lindsay and I have reconnected. She was kind enough to send me some of her yummy, vibrant fabrics to play with - and I have been overwhelmed with ideas! The colors make me giddy!

Check out these great designs (there are so many it is hard to choose - here are a few favorites):
Heirloom - Blueberry Flowers

Mimosa - Pop Ditsy

Palladium - Gray Chevron (this is my favorite)

Stained Glass - Pink

I have desperately been looking for the right bedding to brighten up my bedroom. Sometimes I think it can be a curse when you know exactly what you want, because you can then never find it. Over the weekend I used the Palladium Gray Chevron to make some pillows for our bed and they turned out beautiful!

Stay tuned for more projects!

Happy + Friday

Ez Pudewa - the writer of Creature Comforts is one of my favorite people to follow on pinterest.

Her boards are super inspirational and are the reason I am sometimes on the computer way too long!
