82 days, 10 weeks and 503 hours

82 is the number of days 'til the "big day"!

503 is the number of hours that my battery operated tealights are going on. Yes - they have lasted this long! If anyone needs tealights for ANYTHING - check out the Christmas Tree Shop and pick up a pack or two. Six lights for $2.99 - you can not go wrong!

Also please meet the newest member to the Williams/Rietz household: Dozer. 10 is the number of weeks he is!

163 hours 23 minutes

That's how long the battery operated tea lights have been on. I bought them last week to "test" their strength and I have to say, I am pretty impressed. These little suckers haven't evened started to dim or flicker.

The whole purpose for the tealights is I am going to put them in mason jars and hang them from all the trees. It's going to look like 100's of firefly's in the sky - I can't wait!

101 Days

I have an iPhone application titled "Days Until". It is the countdown for my wedding. I have 101 more days. On Friday, I will be in the double digits - 99 to go. People keep saying "it goes by so fast" and to be quite honest - I think just the opposite. Maybe it's the anticipation that is making it drag - or the fact that I am so damn organized. I don't know.

This weekend I got all supplies for the wedding: votive candles that already have the wax in them (genius):

I am running a test on these little suckers right now. I turned them on 45 hours ago and they are still on! I am pretty excited about this - now I don't have to worry about them blowing out on their own. I actually have to worry if they'll ever turn off!

I'm back!

Ok - so I didn't fall off the face of the earth, I was just busy and quite frankly my creativity left me for a while.

I think I am back! The weather is {finally} starting to turn nice and I have a smile on my face! Cruising through the good 'ol world wide web I found this great site: Kindred. They provide beautiful wallpaper designs, and photography for your desktop (sometimes the picture of the dog - gets old - love you Matty).

Check out these cool patterns {this is what is on my desktop}

I am really excited to because my shower and my sister's baby shower is this weekend! I can't wait!!

Sycamore Street Press

A husband and wife team consists of Sycamore Street Press. The letterpress with their Vandercook #3 right out of their living room! The results are beautiful!

Eva (the wife) also writes a great blog! I would love to see these frames in every color imaginable! I love them! I also love the placecards! What a great detail to add to your wedding. You can see, by the finished product, that they put a lot of effort into each piece. Sycamore Street Press is a great find!

Aprons

Love 'em, never wear 'em. Maybe I should start!

Martha has a DIY version:

These gals have a bunch:

And of course Anthropologie's are the cutest! If I had any of these aprons on in the kitchen, I would wear an apron over my apron! They are so sweet you don't even want to get them dirty!
