Summer wedding

A few details from a wedding I had planned last summer.

The bride and groom wanted cookie cake for dessert. We displayed the cakes on vintage cake stands at different levels. It was different and so pretty!

A fun way to display the months as baby gets older.

Cut out felt numbers for each month, take the picture and hang both on a clothesline!

So simple!

Felt flower beanies

Felt flowers that I have been making. Where else to put them but on a sweet hat for a little girl!



Pinterest has kept me very busy!

Birdies on branches

I love craft birdies - vintage or new. I think they are sweet and add a little bit of color when needed.

Above my kitchen sink is very blah. I wanted to do something different - that would add a little color. This is what I came up with and it looks so sweet!

Instead of buying curly willow from a craft store - I gathered a few branches from my backyard and wired them to a few copper nails. I placed my birdies accordingly and voila!
