Craft paper and a sharpie. That's all you need to wrap a gift like this! I used the tutorial here on how to fake calligraphy if you are not trained to do so. Happy Friday!

Project Dear Stella #2
I love love LOVE the Dear Stella Stained Glass line of fabrics. The colors are stunning! I have been wanting to wrap fabric in canvas, and I thought I would give it a try with these little guys I had lying around.
I think the dimensions are 3" x 3" so they are super small - but look super cute on a shelf. Of course I had to adorn a felt flower - duh!
The colors are Pink, Orange and Light Orange |

The top 3 words that I loathe
3. Snack. Don't know why because I enjoy a good one - but snack has always made me cringe.
2. Moist. Such a gross adjective.
1. Panty or panties. Just say underwear.
Oh yeah - and any word that comes out of Rachel Ray's mouth. Such an annoying human.
Come on people - I know you're out there. What word annoys you?

Project Dear Stella #1
Lindsay Straw Galloway is a Surface Pattern and Textile designer (dream job) in NYC who launched her new fabric line Dear Stella late last year! She also happens to be an old high school friend, a facebook friend as well as a fellow pinner on Pinterest! Through the wonderful world of social media, Lindsay and I have reconnected. She was kind enough to send me some of her yummy, vibrant fabrics to play with - and I have been overwhelmed with ideas! The colors make me giddy!
I have desperately been looking for the right bedding to brighten up my bedroom. Sometimes I think it can be a curse when you know exactly what you want, because you can then never find it. Over the weekend I used the Palladium Gray Chevron to make some pillows for our bed and they turned out beautiful!
Stay tuned for more projects!
Check out these great designs (there are so many it is hard to choose - here are a few favorites):
Heirloom - Blueberry Flowers |
Mimosa - Pop Ditsy |
Palladium - Gray Chevron (this is my favorite) |
Stained Glass - Pink |

Ez Pudewa - the writer of Creature Comforts is one of my favorite people to follow on pinterest.
Her boards are super inspirational and are the reason I am sometimes on the computer way too long!
